Obituary of Brenda K. Emory

Brenda K. Emory, 61, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Sherman and Jamestown, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the home of her son. She was born August 7, 1956 in Jamestown, the daughter of Beatrice DeMarco Marotto-Vitanza and the late Frank A. Marotto. She had been a volunteer for CASA of Chautauqua County. In addition to her mother, Beatrice, surviving is a son, Bryon (Jessica) Emory; two granddaughters, Megan and Courtney Emory; and a brother, David (Debbie) Marotto. Brenda was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Bryan V. Emory, whom she married November 30, 1980 and who died August 16, 2016; a son, Michael Emory; and a brother, Richard Frank Marotto. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakewood. The Rev. Piotr Zaczynski will be celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
