I was very sad and shocked to read of Jim's passing. Back in 1970 I bought from him a Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennesean guitar at Connie Spano's store on 5th street in Jamestown......Jim was a great musician and person. I am very sad for the family loss and for the loss to the area.

Jim was a nice man. I'll always remember him as kind, dependable, smart, and well liked. I knew him for the ten years that I worked at F.C.S. and I never heard a negative remark about him. Jim smiled a lot! When I get to Heaven, I will thank him for his friendly ways that left an impression on me!
May our Father, God of all creation, give his family rest and peace in their time grief.

My condolences to the family members, he was a very admirable gentleman, always presented himself professionally. I was fortunate enough to have taken lessons with Jim at Chautauqua Music, as well as in his home. Even got a chance to watch him perform at a few venues.
He was a wonderful person, a great teacher, and professional musician. His presence will be sadly missed in our community, we were blessed to have him in our lives. My heart is heavy having heard the news of his passing. May Jim be at peace with God.

Really sorry I am not in town to be there for the funeral and to support the family and spend time with you guys. Uncle Jimmy was such a kind and gentle person, so incredibly talented. Will miss him. Really glad I got to spend time with him and everyone when I was up there last time. Thinking about you all, and especially Uncle Tom, Dad, and Tuney (not sure of correct spelling). Love you guys.
