Obituary of Dolores E. Paulson
Dolores E. "Dee" Paulson, 81, of Jamestown, gained her wings Sunday June 24, 2018, in UPMC Chautauqua WCA.
A Jamestown native, she was born March 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Julius and Mildred Wren Johnson.
She was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School where she participated in the marching band as a majorette.
Prior to becoming a full time mother and homemaker, she was employed by Drs. Greenbaum and Wolinsky as a dental assistant.
She was a long time member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and Vikings Lodge.
Dee had the biggest heart and was very proud of her family. Spending time with them was very important to her and she enjoyed family get-togethers. Christmas was her favorite time of year where she enjoyed decorating, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Her passion was fishing on the lake, collecting teddy bears and playing cards with friends. She was a strong, independent, beautiful woman that will greatly be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Surviving are four children Bradley (Annette) Paulson of Jacksonville, FL, Julie (William) Faricellie III of East Amherst, NY, Jodie (Leslie) Hutchens of Torano, VA and Brian (Janelle) Paulson of Jamestown; seven grandchildren Brianne Jenney, Adam (Rebecca) Faricellie, Rachelle Smith, Brooke Paulson, Kalene Faricellie, Lexi (Zach) Muntz and Kristen Faricellie; five great grandchildren and two brothers Robert (Diane) Johnson of Ashville and Gordon (Darlene) Johnson of Celoron.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Aaron Paulson in 2015.
Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel Rumfelt will close the time of visitation with a brief prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 5488 Sheridan Drive, Suite 300
Williamsville, NY 14221.
