I AM CANDY’s ( teet) YOUNGER SON, KARY. I REMEMBER MY MOM SO INTENSE .SHE WAS ALWAYS MY EVERLASTING PROTECTOR, SOUL MATE, COMEDIAN, COMFORTER, and (SHE WAS NEVER WRONG.) ABOUT MOST THINGS... IT WAS AS IF SHE HAD A SIXTH SENCE, AND AN OVERWHELMING UNDERSTANDING OF OTHERS FEELINGS, LIKE AN EMPATH. IM SURE SHE FELT WHAT OTHER LIVING THINGS DID, WHEN SHE WAS NEAR THEM. SHE HAD A KINDNESS INSIDE HER THAT WAS FELT By ANYONE WHO KNEW HER AS A FRIEND, OR FAMILY AND EVERY ONE OF HER PETS. SHE ONCE SAVED A BABY HAIRLESS MOUSE, FEEDING HIM EVERY FEW MINUTES WITH AN EYE DROPPER. HE STARTED TO GROW HAIR AND GET BIGGER, WHILE SHE HELD HIM SO CAREFULLY, TALKING AND SINGING TO HIM. ALAS, HE WAS JUST TOO YOUNG TO SURVIVE WITH OUT HIS MOTHER. IT MADE ME FEEL SO SORRY FOR HER, BECAUSE SHE WAS TRYING TO SAVE HIS LIFE, BUT ENDED UP GRIEVING FOR HIM. I ALWAYS THOUGHT, SHE WOULD BE SELFISH AT SOME-POINT IN LIFE, BUT IT WAS NOT HER. SHE ONLY THOUGHT OF OTHERS AND WHY SHE WAS, NOT ABLE TO SAVE ANYONE OR ANYTHING SHE WANTED. THE FACT IS SHE MADE ME THE BEST PERSON I CAN BE WHILE, STILL DOING WHAT I BELIVE SHE WOULD SAY, OR WANT FOR US ALL.
SHE WAS MY EVERYTHING, AND I WAS SCARED FOR SO LONG, WHILE SHE SUFFERED SO MANY YEARS, PRACTALLY ALONE IN HER RECLINER, UNABLE TO MOVE BY HERSELF TWOARD THE NIGHT I COULD DO NOTHING BUT CALL AN AMBULANCE, WHEN SHE HAD DOUBLE PNEUMONIA, AND MY DAD WAS ALREADY IN THE HOSPITAL WITH THE SAMETHING, BUT HE HAD JUST COME BACK FROM CLEAVLAND CANCER CENTER, IN REMISSION, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HAPPY TIME, BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED. THANKFULLY I WAS HOME WITH HER DURING THAT TIME, TO TRY AND HELP HER SURVIVE THESE THINGS. I WAS DIABLED AND TRIED MY BEST TO PHYSICALLY HELP, BUT NOT ALWAYS JOYFULLY. I WAS TRYING TO DISTANCE MY EMOTIONS, TO HELP EASE MY PAIN....AND SHE SUFFERED FROM IT. I ASK HER FORGIVENESS DAILY AFTER THE FACT, BUT IT DINDNT HELP HER FOR THE 6 months in ONE HOSPITAL AFTER ANOTHER ON A VENTILATOR. SHE FINALLY GOT OFF IT, AND A WEEK LATER SHE HAD PNEUMONIA AGAIN, AND TRANFERED FROM ONE PLACE BACK TO THE HOSPITAL SEVERAL TIMES OVER, HAVING TO BE REMADE TO GO BACK TO THE VITILLATER. THEN HER HEART WAS TO WEAK TO MAKE IT, AND HAD TO BE RESUSCITATED DAILY, UNKNOWN BY MY FATHER AND I. NO ONE MENTIONED IT, UNTILL MY DAD CAME HOME ONE SUNDAY AFTER BEING WITH HER ALL DAY MOST EVERY DAY, AND WE RECIE ED THE CALL, SAYING SHE COUDNT KEEP MAKING THROUGH BEING REVIVED DAILY, UNBEKNOWN BY US, despite asking everything we could , several times daily. MY FATHER CAME HOME FROM ERIE AND AN HOUR LATER, WE WERE MADE KNOWN HOW SERIOUS THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS HAD BEEN, BUT NEVER TOLD. WHEN I GOT THERE SHE WAS GONE, AND I SCREAMED IN GRIEF AND HORROR, FOR A VERY LONG TIME. THOSE PEOPLE COULD NOT HAVE HAD ANY COMPASION AT ALL FOR HER OR RESPECT FOR HER LIFE... IM DEALING AS WELL AS I CAN, AS MY FATHER HAS TAKEN MY MOMS PLACE IN HER RECLINER, FROM SEVERE COPD. I JUST HOPE DAILY, WE HAVE MORE TIME TOGETHER, AND TO REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES.
I LOVE YOU ❤️ MOMMA ETERNALY, MY LOVE.

So sorry to learn of Candy”s passing. We lost contact after high school, and yet I always carried fond memories of the years we shared. We would have lunch at her home and dance to Sugar Shack. She was the best. Made you laugh and had such a personality. I always hoped to meet her again when I visited Jamestown. Sorry to all for your loss

My beautiful friend we called "Teet."
You have always been among the the most treasured friendships to me while we were growing up and you kept us laughing all of those days.
We didn’t realize that we were making memories. We just knew that we were having the time of our lives.
You can sing with your folks now (Cullah and Ettie) and while we will always miss you here, your lovely and lively spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone who ever knew you.
My thoughts and condolences to Karen (Caudie) and Mike and families. The Johnsons were an influential part of my life growing up and the loss of Teet is heartbreaking.
Very sincerely,
Michelle
P.S. Don't step on the chicken dinner!
