Cindy,
From one sister in the Christ to another, I just want you to know that I have been blessed to personally witness what a wonderful and devoted wife you were to Skip. Your words and actions showed me just how much you loved him. You were a God sent blessing to Skip! I know that he saw Jesus in you!
I am so grateful that you enjoyed many happy times together through the years. You have the memories of all the vacations, NASCAR races, TV shows enjoyed, holiday's spent together, and his great cooking skills. You have been so blessed with a hardworking and loving husband.
I also know just how much you cared for and prayed for him through the challenging trials of life and for his salvation. All the times we prayed for him at work in bible study and in private. I knew then that God was and is now your strength during the hard times. You have testified and gave God all of the glory for your many answered prayers for Skip. I praise Him that you were able to share Jesus with Skip all of those times and now you can have the peace in your heart that he is dancing with Jesus in Heaven. God is so merciful and so good!
When you love much you will grief much and even though you have the knowledge that Skip is in our eternal home waiting for you, I know it will be very hard to move forward in this life without him to take care of or to be by your side. I pray that the Holy Spirit will fill that void in you as you grieve the loss of Skip being here with you.
I pray that soon you will be able to feel joy and happiness again as you enjoy your family time with your siblings, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. I pray that you continue to serve the Lord wherever he calls you until someday you meet your beloved Skip again in our eternal home. It's time for you to take care of yourself while Jesus takes really good care of Skip. Please know that you can reach out to me at anytime you need a friend and a sister in Christ Jesus! .
