She was born August 16, 1952 in Jamestown, a daughter of Donna Wright Nelson and the late Charles Nelson. Jody was a graduate of Southwestern Central School. In earlier years, she was employed by United Refining Company and prior to retirement was employed by Wegmans. She attended Fluvanna Community Church and thoroughly enjoyed time spent at Sippin' Seniors. Jody was a hardworking woman who placed priority on the needs of others. She loved animals of all kinds but was very fond of cats and monkeys. Jody always enjoyed a good story but especially loved to hear stories about her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Donna of Lakewood, NY; two children: Curtis Tuller of Lakewood and Carrie (Jeff) Holton of Florida; four grandchildren: Micaiah, Gabriel, Simon-Charles and Berea Holton; two sisters: Theresa (Paul) Pellico of Texas and Patricia (Jeff) Kelderhouse of Frewsburg; a brother, Jeff Nelson of California; two nephews: John (Amanda) Nelson of Kennedy and Scott Pellico of Texas; and a niece, Katie Pellico of Illinois. In addition to her father, Jody was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Yanik and a nephew, Jeffery Pellico. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11th in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
