Obituary of Florence Patricia Forsberg

F. Patricia Forsberg, 90, formerly of 16 Glenview Avenue, died Tuesday August 7, 2018, in the Lutheran Retirement Home. She was born August 11, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Kane Ward. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Jamestown Public School District at R.R. Rogers Elementary School as an aide in the library. She enjoyed reading, knitting and music, especially listening to concerts in Allen Park from her front porch. More than anything she loved time spent with family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lutheran A2 and Hospice for the exceptional care Pat received. Surviving are three sons, P. Scott (Marsha) Forsberg of Jamestown, Dr. C. Theodore (Melanie) Forsberg of Erie, PA and Dr. Kip (Lynn) Forsberg of Endicott, NY; nine grandchildren Kelly Germond, Colleen Carpenter, Allison Pennell, Katelyn Fanelli, Kyle Forsberg, Elizabeth Cassidy, Holly Shaffer, Ryan Forsberg and Emily Forsberg and great grandchildren Tessa, Aidan, Jayce and Hazel Germond, Elyn and Nolan Carpenter, Mia and Liliana Fanelli, Charlotte and Hudson Forsberg and James Cassidy. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Forsberg, whom she married October 9, 1948 and who died February 11, 2004 and a sister, Nancy Johnson. In keeping with Pat's wishes, no public funeral service or visitation will be observed.
