Obituary of Ronald W. Clardy

Ronald W. Clardy, 69, of 1611 W. 3rd St., died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 18, 1949, the son of the late Wilford and Martha Sue Clardy, and was a veteran of the US Army. Ron had been employed in several maintenance and convenience store positions in the Myrtle Beach area over the years. He also enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. Surviving is his wife, Melody West Cardy; a son, Ronald (Marilyn) Clardy of Myrtle Beach and daughter, Heather Clardy of Nashville, TN; stepson, Todd (Tammy) West of Lakewood, NY; five grandchildren: Hannah Clardy, U.S. Marine Corps, Ellie Clardy of Nashville, Brandon and Elijah West, both of Lakewood, NY, and Katie Niculin of Myrtle Beach; and a sister, Joanne (Thomas) Gaines of Myrtle Beach. Ron will also be sadly missed by his two cats, Snowflake and Blackie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Clardy. No service or visitation will be observed.
