Obituary of David F. Rose

David F. Rose, 67, of 54 2nd Mill St., Sheffield, Pa., formerly of Sinclairville and Jamestown, died Monday, August 27, 2018 at UPMC Hamot in Erie. He was born September 27, 1950 in Jamestown, a son of the late Floyd D. and Leona Albaugh Rose, Jr. Prior to retirement, David had been employed by Cummins Engine in Lakewood. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Connie Johns Rose, whom he married November 6, 1971; five daughters: Kelly Abbey of Copley, OH, Michelle Donaldson of Kennedy, NY, Heather Baynes of York, PA, Autumn Helms of Jamestown and Holly Sethuramalingam of St Louis, MO; and twelve grandchildren: Eric and Ethan Surena, Damaian, Isaac and Joseph Jr. Helms, Bridgette and Rosemarie Donaldson, Ashlynn Kelly, Mitchell Abbey, Brooke Almquist, Aditya Sharma and Bailey Sethu. Also surviving are three brothers: Donald, Paul and Steven Rose; and a sister, Diane Patterson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Star Rose and two brothers, Robert Wrobelski and Ronald Rose. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home, with visitation for two hours prior to the service (from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.) Saturday in the funeral home.. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
