Obituary of Aldina Gullotti

Aldina Calimeri Gullotti, 79, of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Aldina was born July 13, 1939 in Tortorici, Sicily Italy, a daughter of the late Michele and Rosaria Paterniti Calimeri, and came to the United States at the age of 19. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family baking and cooking for all of them. She also took great pride in her flower gardens and enjoyed going shopping and dancing. Surviving are her five children; Joe (Theresa) Gullotti, Sally (Jeff) Sphon, Carl (Maria) Gullotti, Mike (Cindy) Gullotti all of Jamesown, Carol (Mark) Moll of Frewsburg, 15 grandchildren; Samantha Clark, Katie Sheldon, Krissy Gullotti, Joey Gullotti, Amanda Sphon, Stephanie Sphon, Christopher Gullotti, Allessia Gullotti, Bianca Gullotti, Marke Moll, Megan Moll, Jessica Moll, Mike Gullotti, Paige Gullotti, Karley Liberati, 14 great grandchildren, 4 brothers; Rosario Calimeri, Carl Calimeri, Anthony Calimeri, Armando Michael Calimeri all of Jamestown and two sisters; Marianna Pintagro, Josephine Bentley both of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gullotti whom she married October 18, 1948 and who died January 30, 2010, and infant son, Carl Gullotti, two brothers; Sebastian "Busty" Calimeri and Frank Calimeri and a sister, Mary Territo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 6:45 p.m. Sunday. The Altar and Rosary Society will conduct a Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
