The Rolling Stones posted a 2020 tour with a stop in Buffalo, 6/2020. I thought, I have to find Lynn Bellardo she will want to go with me. I was her most memorable and most made fun of college roommate but, she had stories about her mom and dad, too and I knew how much she loved them so I felt I was in good company. Lynn and I had more college memories in a short time than any two people should have. Many stunts involved wanting things our college budgets could not afford. One time, we rang up our college phone bill prompting AT&T (NY Telephone) to call us with a warning of an upcoming bill. To pay our largest bal due phone bill, we took a job at a Burger King - Lynn working the front b/c the manager told us she was the pretty one. I worked the grill and kept forgetting to put the bottom bun on the whoppers so Lynn would try to fix the whoppers at the front or intercept angry customers asking for the manager by throwing away the customer returns before the manager got wind of the complaints just long enough until we paid the phone bill. Another time, a beer manufacturer wrote us at our dorm to tell us to stop sending them letters about stale product and asking for a makegood. But our proud teamwork was best noticed when we won the dorm's Christmas Door decoration contest where we re-wrote the lyrics of well loved Christmas classics that any Rugby team would have been proud to sing.
I didn't know Lynn had passed until finding this announcement online. We hadn't stayed in touch because I always felt her in my heart and, I'd like to think she knew I never forgot her.
Lynn and I would talk often during Sunday study sessions of marriage and families, both of us wondering how to be an adult. Whether we are ready for adulthood or dying, God has a way of guiding us.
I look forward to seeing Lynn again and feel grateful that she knows where the painting is.

I am shocked and heartbroken to learn the news that Lynne is no longer with us. I have the fondest memories of our friendship, which included more laughter than I can count. She was a lovely, quick-witted and compassionate gal, who always had a huge smile on her face. Hence I called her “Lynne, Lynne - eternal grin”. I will never forget you. I pray that one day our spirits will meet again. All my love.

My sympathy to the family of Lynn Johnson. Lynn was my nurse for a number of years when I had appointments at Jamestown Primary Care. She was always so pleasant and encouraging. She always made my visits to the doctor a lot less cumbersome, I will miss her greatly.

As a long time patient at Jamestown Primary Care, I was deeply saddened to hear of Lynn's passing. Lynn's warmth, smile, compassion, and professional care was always a welcome and gentle kindness before meeting with the doctor. I didn't fully realize and appreciate how much those minutes meant to me until I learned that she had passed. She wasn't just my nurse, she was a cherished friend. Will miss her dearly and feel thankful and blessed to have known her.
