I had the distinct privilege of meeting Busty on only a handful of occasions. None of them ordinary. The one that sticks with me is when I drove him and Rose Marie from the airport to a local hospital to visit their daughter Kim who had been in an accident.
He could not be by her side soon enough and I got the very distinct impression that nothing would've stopped him getting there.
He was a force of nature and that force was fed by the love of his family and he lived to return that love.
The love he leaves behind will never be lost and through that he will always be with you all.
My deepest and most heartfelt sympathies and love are with you.

RoseMarie, Karen, Kelly and Kim I am so sorry to hear of Busty's passing. I am grateful to have known you all and to have some great memories of our childhood and Busty trying to keep up with us and knowing what was going on. From sneaking into the pool in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter we always got caught. You could never slip one by him. He was a gentle sole even though he would be mad at us for sneaking an hour later he would hand us money to go down to Musty's pizza shack for pizza and drinks. He had that deep voice that used to scare the daylights out of me but by the time he got done he getting down on us he would turn into a teddy bear. Thanks for the great memories Busty I will cherish them forever. He sold me my 1st car I ever owned. He was great business man. He will truly be missed by alot of people. Until we meet again RIP Busty.

Busty truly was a family man, I used to love seeing and talking to him at the auctions. He always had a handshake and a hi for me and many times a pat on the back. Though who could have had a new Lincoln he liked his pickup. he was a unique man , I had the privilege of knowing Busty for 45 years. Rest in peace and see you again when we again can sit and talk cars.

Rose Marie and Girls,
I am so sorry to hear of Busty's passing. May he find peace. Busty was a good man. He was truly larger than life. I cannot help smiling every time i think of him. He would try to be so gruff but he was really a Teddy Bear. I am glad that i had the opportunity to share in a part of his life. What a character! Think of the good times.. Karen and Rose.. the fuzzy hat..the Armstrong Heater... many special memories. Make no mistake that Busty could not have loved you anymore.than he did. It was physically impossible...Rose..Karen..Kelly and Kim .The sun rose and set around his love for his family. God Bless you all. Sending much love and Prayers.

RoseMarie and family,
So sorry about the passing of Busty. As you remember I worked for Busty when I was 18. We not only had a lot of fun but we became life long friends with many memories of 8th street.
He gave me my first car, something I never forgot.
His long time Breakfast buddy Phil (also my good friend) are back having coffee together.

Your Father was a good friend to my parents. My Mom loved how he would always compliment her. He was a good man and I know that your family will forever miss him. I do know that he is in Heaven now being probably God's Number 1 helper. I am so very sorry for your loss and if my parents knew how to use their computer better, they would write the same words. They were so sad to hear of Mr. SanFilippo's passing.
