Obituary of Priscilla Nobbs

PRISCILLA OLNEY NOBBS, 83, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday (Oct. 9, 2018) at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born September 20, 1935 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of Jewell Rodgers and Elson Olney. She moved to Warren, Pa and Jamestown NY in 1951 and relocated to Florida in 1990. Before retiring in 2015, she was employed for 25 years with Famous Footwear as a sales associate. Besides her children and family, her greatest loves were her dogs, Benji and Reina, both who have also passed on. She also enjoyed tinkering around her house, crossword puzzles, talking with neighbors, and watching the cooking channel. Priscilla is survived by her son, Shane Nobbs of Front Royal, Virginia; a daughter, Tobi N Gilbert of Jacksonville, North Carolina; a grandson, Nathaniel Nobbs of Front Royal, Virginia; a brother, Marshall Olney of Warren, Pennsylvania; a brother, Harold Olney, California; many cherished nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in-laws. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, JAMES A NOBBS, in 1986, and several very loved in-laws. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Lind Funeral Home, Jamestown, NY. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, next to her beloved husband immediately following the funeral. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Friday at Lind Funeral Home.
