Aunt Aurora always had a smile on her face and was always happy to see extended family. Such a sweet and kind person. Her voice was soothing and we loved hearing her talk about memories, lessons learned, or life in general.

Dear Debbie, I just wanted to express my condolences to your and your family over the passing of your mother Mrs. Bondi. I have very fond memories of you and your family and especially of your sweet mother. She was a lovely lady and I know that you and your family are going to miss her very much. Your mom and dad were great people. My cousin Thomas Entzminger who lives in Denver and Mrs. Bondi graduated from JHS 75 years ago and they kept in touch over the years. I called Tommie (his son) and let him know of Mrs. Bondi's passing so that he can inform Thomas. Debbie, please remember all of the wonderful memories that you have of your mother and remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My mother Katherine Thomes passed away March 7, 2016 and was 97 years old. I thank God everyday that she was blessed with a long life and was mentally sharp until the end of her life. We are both blessed to have had wonderful parents. Take care and once again my best to you and your family. Judy (Thomes) Hunt

What a wonderful lady Mrs. Bondi was ! She and her husband Jerry were like another set of parents to many of us who went to St. Bonaventure University with Mary Kay and Debbie.... It was always a big treat to go to Jamestown and have a homemade dinner at their house... So sorry to hear of her passing.. such a sweet lady....Saying prayers for the whole family....

I have many fond childhood memories of Aurora from The Watch Shop. My grandmother (Louise Swan) worked with her for years and I loved going there to visit everyone. As an adult I made a visit to Carlson's and was greeted by Aurora with a big hug. It had been years since we last saw each other but she remembered me. My thoughts are with her family.
