Our sincere condolences to the Taylor family, Paul & I are just one of many who met the Taylors and admired their work in the community, as Vivian's obituary describes. We also read with interest the inspiring story of his military service that was published in the Post-Journal on August 18 of this year. It's good that Vivian and Lula's legacy will live on not only in their children and grandchildren but in those they have inspired. Linda and Paul Demler

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Vivian Taylor. They were neighbors to our mother Katherine Thomes for many years on Eighteenth Street and whenever we came home for a visit they would always come over to visit. Mr. & Mrs.Taylor will be truly missed in Jamestown both for their civic activities and their church activities. Again, our sympathies are extended to LaVon, Myron & Michael in the loss of their father and grandfather. Dear Taylor Family, Pam, Karli, Joanna, Jimmy and I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your Father's passing as well as your mom's earlier this year. In addition, Pam's parents, Mike and Eleanor Allette, formally of North Main Street also send their sympathy. They always had Vivian's lawn sign on their property during election years. What wonderful people that we got to know and who I got the opportunity to work with for many years. They were one of a kind and they will be truly missed in this community.
