Obituary of Sally K. Towne

Sally K. Towne, 66, of English Street, Jamestown, passed away Friday October 26, 2018 in UPMC Chautauqua Hospital. She was born June 7, 1952 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Edward and Selma Carlson Robbins. Sally was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to retirement, she worked in Food Service at WCA Hospital for 17 years. She enjoyed painting and attending car shows. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Douglas R. Towne; a daughter, Stephanie (Ron) Brown of Jamestown; a son, Jay (Anna) Towne of Frewsburg; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ronnie, Olivia, Zach, Brayden, and Amelia; three great grandchildren, Vanessa, Aubrey, and Jaxon; a sister, Sandra (Tom) Ferriman of Erie, PA; and a brother, Greg (Judy) Robbins of Warren, PA. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Falconer, 37 W. Falconer Street, Falconer, NY. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
