Obituary of Deanna K. Smith

Deanna K. Smith, 77, of 60 Roland Road, died Friday December 21, 2018, in the Lutheran Home. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born September 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Engle Bryant. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School She was employed by Acu-Rite for several years and earlier had worked for Firch Baking, Company. She was a member of Fluvanna Community Church and Red hatters. She enjoyed travelling, shopping and playing games especially mahjong. More than anything she loved her family as they were the most important thing. Surviving are six children Lynn (Carl) Reale, Debbie (Dan) Orlando, Rich Smith and Robbie (Melissa) Smith all of Jamestown, Randy (Lisa) Smith of Randolph and Scott (Jen) Smith of Falconer; grandchildren Paul Reale, Crystal (Jack) Vogt, Samantha Reale, Sgt. Jaden Smith, Zachary Smith, Caleb Smith, Rachel Smith, Chris Smith, Dominique Orlando, Danielle Orlando, Hannah Smith, Levi Smith, Klayton Campbell, Gavin Smith and Noah Smith; two great grandchildren Sophia Vogt and Lincoln Smith and a sister Donna Borstoff. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Smith, Jr. whom she married November 7, 1959 and who died February 7, 1985 and a sister Sue Ann Engle. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Fluvanna Community Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the church.
