Garrett, My mind will not wrap around this. I can not find any good in good-bye. If you were here you would remind me of something we could laugh at And lift a little of this heavy weight from my heart. You are my brother and I love you. No one could ever replace you not ever. Your enjoyment of life your openness, your helpfulness, your friendliness and your laughter, oh your laughter shall never be forgotten.<3

Garrett was a great person. I really enjoyed the time I worked with him at advance auto. So sad to hear of his passing.

I remember Garrett as a kid. He was a few years older than me and my siblings. He taught me to ride a bike and the fun all of us "kids" had growing up at his parents home in Ashville. The picnics, the swimming, and the wheel barrow rides are such precious memories. His Uncle Ray was my step-dad, but we were never treated as "steps" by any family member. We are cousins! My heart and prayers go out to all of you. He loved and was loved by so many. I was blessed to call him Cousin.

This photo is exactly how I'll choose to remember Uncle G. My mind always puts a smile on his face, a squint to his eye, and his laughter will forever ring in my ears. No words will ever console, heal, or replace the emptiness that the loss of this man has left everyone with because there's not another soul on earth like him! My condolences to Aunt Carol & boys and my love to you all!
