My heart is heavy learning of the passing of one of the kindness ladies that has every been in my life. She was easily considered as my "second mom" growing up.....
I will always remember the day a friend and I came running to her house being chased by a swarm of ground bees... And her and my mom picking what seemed to be at least 100 stingers from my head and neck.....
I have never been big on sweets, but I could never resist the smell of the goodies hitting you in the face upon entering the house on Bowen Street when I was growing up!
While it will never be the same when visiting Jamestown and making the mandatory visit to see aunt Diane while feasting on Lena's Pizza and wings.... I will forever miss you Diane and will look forward to seeing you on the other side of the Pearly Gates!
I know my dad was waiting for you when you arrived and hopefully he will not drive you completely insane before some back up arrives :)
