Obituary of David D. McGraw

David Drake McGraw, 76, of Maple Springs, NY, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 in Westfield Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Julia Marriner Weston McGraw, whom he married August 24, 1963 and who died January 3, 2006. David was born May 25, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late John Sears and Nancy Langfitt McGraw, and received his Bachelor's Degree from New York University. A banker, David worked for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, PA and later Boston, MA and finished his banking career with Citizens Bank in Portsmouth, NH. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching football, always as a fan of AFC teams. David liked restoring antique cars, especially his 1971 BMW. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and dry wit. Most important to David was his family - his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter, Cammi McGraw Wagner (Todd) of Hampton Falls, NH and a son, David Drake McGraw, Jr. (Jenn) of Pikesville, MD; five grandchildren: David and John McGraw and Hannah, Weston and Julia Wagner; a brother, John Sears McGraw, Jr. (Cathy) of Warren, PA and sister, Nancy McGraw Dixon (Brian) of Sarasota, FL; as well as his dear friend and companion, Binnie Kurtzner. A memorial service will be held at a later date this summer and will be announced by the Lind Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Maple Springs Fire Department, P.O.
