My heart aches for all of you. I didn't know Mr. Anderson well. I met him at family functions at Jay & Jobie's. If my father was there they would sit and talk about the old times and chuckle as they spoke of things they remembered. I find comfort knowing my dad has gained a friend in heaven to visit with and hope you will find the same.

Candice, Randy, Todd and Jay. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing your father. Roger was quite the man. A person who always treated people well, had a story to tell, and consistently brought a smile to my face. His sense of humor was next to none. At times like this I hope you're able to remember the fond memories of all of you together. He will now be joining your Mom, another one-of-a-kind person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. With warmest regards, Mark (Constantine)

Roger was a very large part of my basic training in the automotive field. It was Roger that brought me to McFadden Ford where I was employed for many years. During those first years when my less than perfect car would break down Roger would tell me "you need to buy yourself a lighter pair of shoes". His humor always gave me not only entertainment, but wisdom for my own life. Our family's prayers go out to yours,
John Kost

Uncle Roger and Aunt Barbara provided a significant positive influence on my youth. They were very kind to include me often with their immediate family in vacation stays on Lake Erie. I remember these times with great fondness I am also very proud of Uncle Roger’s WWII service. Like many vets, he never spoke of it, and it is only in recent years that I could fully appreciate his service to the nation. Uncle Roger also helped me acquire my first car, a. powder blue ‘65 Studebaker, forever remembered as “the Baker”. Rest In Peace, Uncle Roger.

Roger with his sister Thelma in 2018. It was always pleasant to visit Roger at Brookdale and hear them speak a little Swedish to each other in between catching up on family news and sharing old memories.
