I worked for Gerry for several years at Love School as the school secretary. She was a true friend and inspiration. I will always remember the lessons I learned from her during those years. She touched the lives of many, many children. She also gave me good counsel on a personal level. I will miss her terribly.

So sorry. For your loss. She was my principal from 1977-1983. Many years later while working, i got on the elevator snd I see this women I think I recognize. When i turn around to look again she smiled wiggles jer fingers at me and says " Hi Kemyatta". It had been over 25 and she knew exactly who I was!!! Rest in peace Mrs.Caruso.

I met Gerry when I worked at Love School. Gerry ruled with a soft voice and a kind heart. She earned the respect of the staff, parents and students she encountered. Gerry was an outstanding boss and a treasured friend. I regret not being able to pay my last respects as I am out of town. My deepest condolences to her family. R.I.P dear friend.
