Obituary of Michael J. Guarino

Michael J. Guarino, 77, of Jamestown, died unexpectedly Monday April 1, 2019, in his home. He was born August 9, 1941, in Erie, PA, a son of the late Michael and Rose (Vizine) Guarino. He was a 1959 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to his retirement he was employed for over 30 years by 3M as a sales representative. Following retirement, he owned and operated Southern Tier Microfilm. He was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. Mike enjoyed woodworking, gardening, reading, and listening to jazz. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and a sometimes frustrated fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. He dearly loved his wife, children and grandsons and his entire Vizine family. Surviving are his wife Marsula "Marcy" (Munson) Guarino, whom he married July 5, 1965; two children Michael (Lisa) Guarino of Webster, NY, and Amy (Bryan) Guarino Beatson of Seattle, WA and two grandsons Alexander and Nicholas Guarino both of Webster, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
