Obituary of Mary L. Sullivan

Mary L. Sullivan, 100, of 18 W. Terrace Avenue, Lakewood, formerly of Erie, PA, died Tuesday April 25, 2019, in Heritage Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A native of Randolph, NY, she was born October 25, 1918, the daughter of the late John and Frances Hemstrought McLarney. She was a 1935 graduate of Randolph High School. While living in Erie, she was a communicant of St. John Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons John D. Sullivan of Columbus, OH and Timothy P. Sullivan of Lakewood; two grandchildren Mike Sullivan and Meredith Cahill both of Columbus and three great grandchildren Margaret and Kate Sullivan and James E. "Quaid" Cahill IV. She was preceded in death by her husband Irving S. Sullivan, whom she married August 30, 1937 and who died June 21, 1983. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Randolph. Visitation will not be observed.
