Obituary of John W. Keul

John W. Keul, 71, of Greenhurst, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2019, in his home. He was born November 17, 1947 in Sharon, PA, a son of the late John W. and Veronica M. Taylor Keul. Before his retirement, he was employed as a salesman for Lake County Dodge for many years. In earlier years he had worked for the Marlin Rockwell Corporation. John was a member of the War Vets Recreation Club, the Ellery Center Post 557, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Bemus Point, NY, and the Herman Kent Post 777, American Legion, Celoron, NY. He will be remembered as an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including his caregivers, Laura Ferraro of Jamestown and Andrea Conklin of Ashville. Also surviving are his Keul family relatives, niece Susan Neely-Parker, great nephew, Brandon Parker and his brother-in-law, Russell L. Neely all of Abilene, KS. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Monalee A. Paduano Keul who died October 25, 2016, an infant daughter and a sister, Gertrude A. Neely. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701.
