Obituary of Bonnie L. Carlson

Bonnie L. Carlson, 73, of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident, she was born September 19, 1945 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Gustav Hugo and Marion Evelyn Olson Lundquist. Bonnie was a 1963 graduate of Jamestown High School and before her retirement was employed for over 40 years for the Weber-Knapp Company. She will be remembered as one who loved reading, spending time on the computer and listening to Elvis Presley music. She also enjoyed going out to dinner with the Friday night group, Sam, JoAnne, Marge and her sister Sandra. Surviving is her sister; Sandra Lundquist, with whom she made her home, her daughter, Jody (Chip) Perkins of Jamestown and her three grandchildren, Lucas Raak, Jacob Perkins and Alexandra Perkins. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Miller, pastor of the Zion Covenant Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Western New York, 5488 Sheridan Dr. #300, Williamsville, NY 14221.
