So sorry for your loss. I spent many evenings chatting with "Yankee" in our chatroom. He was a very interesting person. Several of us bought his book, "Principal without a Diploma" and enjoyed it. We often asked about him when he wasn't there and missed him. I was able to communicate with Bonnie a few times to check on him. All of us in Chat Room send our Condolences. He is missed by all of us that continue to chat. "elgin" Lois McHugh

My condolences for your loss of a wonderful man, Mr. Leahy. I remember his kindness and humor. He always treated us (Rich's buddies) with good-heartedness and respect, even though I know we tested his patience. His example of diligent effort in education was exemplary. He was a great patriot, and an even better man.
