Karen- I am so very sorry to see that Bob has passed. I wish I had been able to pay my respects today at his service, but know that I always loved to see your father! Whether it was waiting on him (and you and your mom) at the Celeron Legion, running into him at the grocery store, or seeing you two at Davidsons, he always had a smile on his face and was was always such a kind soul. Karen and Pam, Uncle Bob was an amazing man and role model. Growing up, the Gronquist girls always loved going to see him and your mom. As an adult, I loved looking through the scrapbooks he put together and listening to stories of relatives. He was always smiling and was great with kids. When I heard of his passing, all I could do was smile. I know he lived a great life and he was happy to share that happiness with everyone he met. He's been preparing his whole life to complete his journey on Earth so he can meet Jesus face to face. I have no doubt he's with your mom, my mom, Aunt Muriel, Grandma, Grandpa and all those he loved and those who loved him. He's reaping the benefits that can only come from our Heavenly Father. Heaven surely welcomed this angel! He probably is cleaning up already. What a wonderful man and always made me smile every time he came by my office at Westminster. I always loved getting surprise laminated clippings from newspaper from him even 2 yrs ago on our 50th Anniversary.. thinking of all of you, many memories. God Bless Rosemary
