Obituary of Sharon Ann Nuse

Sharon Ann Nuse, 56, of 2254 Page Road, Kennedy, died Monday June 17, 2019, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born April 17, 1963, in Dunkirk, a daughter of Rita Ratkiewicz Stonefoot and the late Robert Stonefoot. She was a 1981 graduate of Brocton Central School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care as an aide. She earlier had worked for Lutheran, Hills Department Store and Garden Gate Florist. Sharon was a very caring, kindhearted and loving person. What meant the most to her in life was her husband, children and family. Throughout the years her greatest pleasure was watching her kids grow up. Sharon took great pride in her work at Lutheran and Hospice. She showed such compassion for the residents by talking and listening to them, giving them comfort and always going the extra mile. She would often bake cookies or carrot cake for those in her care. She took great pride in her flower gardens and loved animals. She could be found caring for her pets, watching birds at the feeder or hummingbirds in her garden. She always enjoyed the time she spent with her very close friend Patty Fuller. Sharon touched the hearts of so many people. If someone was in need she would find a way to help. She is in heaven now with her in laws with whom she was very close. She will be sadly missed by her family here on earth. Surviving besides her mother of Brocton is her husband Stephen Nuse, Sr., whom she married July 11, 1998; three children Amber Nuse of Manchester, NY, Tyler Nuse of Kennedy and Stephen Nuse, Jr., of Illinois and a sister Lynn (Jim) Card of Mount Dora, FL. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers Bruce and Tom Stonefoot. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Emke will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W.
