Obituary of Judith A. Perry

Judith A. Perry, 74, of Lakewood, NY, passed away Thursday June 27, 2019 in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born March 16, 1945 in Silver Creek, NY the daughter of the late Richard H. and Edith Aldrich Morrison who were grape farmers in Sheridan for over 50 years. Judy was a straight A student, graduating from Silver Creek High School and she attended Alfred College. For many years, she worked for Dr. Miester in Dunkirk. Judy was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church where she was involved in Sunday School and Small Groups. She was an animal lover, enjoyed watching QVC, cooking, and spending time with friends going out to dinner. Judy was a very caring person who took care of her mother for 13 years, and would faithfully send cards to friends and family remembering their special days. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Samuel M. Perry; a son, David S. Perry of Lakewood; and her dog Holly. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 8, 2019 in the Lakewood Baptist Church, 150 Erie Street, Lakewood, NY 14750. The Rev. Dan Cook, retired pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Monday in the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, NY. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
