Obituary of Robert L. Ericson

Robert L. "Bud" Ericson, 72, formerly of Busti, passed away Thursday July 11, 2019 in his home. He was born April 19, 1947 in Jamestown the son of the late Robert O. and Ellen Timblin Ericson. Bud was a US Army Veteran, serving in Korea. For over 20 years, he owned and operated Bud Ericson Saws and Lawn Equipment in Busti, NY. He loved car racing and drove the number 92 car at Stateline and Eriez Speedways for many years. Bud coached his sons Lakers Hockey team and traveled to Horse Shows with his daughter while she showed horses on the AQHA Circuit. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Denise Russell Ericson; a son, Tad (Molly) Ericson of Peach Tree City, GA; a daughter, Jaimie Ericson of Ashville, NY; a grandson, Jarrett Feldt of Ashville, NY; a granddaughter, Ellen Ericson of Peach Tree City, GA; two sisters, Jackie (Dale) Newark of North Carolina; Dawn (Tim) Thompson of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.
