I will be away on Saturday but I wanted Dorothy's family to know that she and your Dad were among my favorites during their time at Camp Street Church. I went to Family Bible Camp for years and I used to see them there. One memory is of Dorothy complaining about some dog hanging around the camp when they had to stay at some other campground because of their dog. It was cute. And I used to see her at Tops in Falconer after your Dad passed and we would always share cat stories. She really loved having that cat. I do not know if the cat was still around when she had to move out of the duplex. Your Mom was just such a kind person. She allowed my friend Polly Wood and I to come up and visit her duplex a few years ago when Polly was considering selling her house. We had a lovely visit and met the cat. Of course, she was also a very talented musician and we enjoyed her playing so much at Camp Sreet. My prayers are with you all.

Larry & Family,
I just discovered that Dorothy had passed and is reunited with Leroy. Your parents were a special memory of my earliest years as a camper at Camp Findley. Also, Dorothy was gracious and allowed me to counsel camps for her when I was merely a Junior in high school. Later, when Gene Westley asked me to direct senior high camp at Findley Lake, the support and prayer offered by your parents gave me the confidence to meet that challenge. In my early twenties, I had the pleasure of singing at their Olean church with the Spokesmen Quartet. Though most of our former EUB clergy families are passed on, it is with grateful thanks that I remember Dorothy and her influence on my Christian journey. Please accept our prayers and kind thoughts as you navigate this difficult time.
