Obituary of Ralph J. Bush

Ralph J. Bush, 82, of 39 Alburtus Avenue, Bemus Point, died Friday July 19, 2019, in UPMC Chautauqua.
A native of Buffalo, NY, he was born March 22, 1937, a son of the late Hoyt and Eleanor Neureuther Bush.
He was a 1955 graduate of West Kenmore High School.
He was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force serving as a mechanic and instructor and receiving the rank of Sergeant.
Following retirement from the military he worked as a mechanic at various places.
He was a member of Lakeside Bible Chapel, Ellery Center VFW, Viking Boat Club, Ira Lou Spring Post American Legion, Twin Tiers Chapter of Antique and Classic Boat Society, Western New York Gas and Steam Engine Association and The Lawson Center.
He will forever be remembered for his mechanical and woodworking skills and for working alongside his wife tending the flowerbeds in the Village of Bemus Point.
Surviving are his wife Sonja Johnson Bush; five children Douglas Bush, Cynthia Olofson, Eric Brown, Lisa Sample and Richard Brown; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a sister Shirley Domon.
No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
