Obituary of Terry L. Telschow

Terry L. Telschow, 67, of 224 Howard St. in Jamestown, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 as a result of an automobile accident. He was the husband of Kay Feather Telschow, whom he married April 6, 1974. Terry was born April 12, 1952 in Jamestown, the son of the late Walter and Jean Lawson Telschow, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School. He had been employed for many years by C.M.K. Auto Parts as manager of the paint department, followed by Fred Roberts, the machine shop of NAPA, Jamestown Glass and most recently by AutoZone. Terry also helped at several area body shops over the years. He belonged to the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, Celoron Legion and Celoron Moose. Being with family was most important to Terry. Going to camp and visiting with them was his favorite. He always enjoyed working on cars, attending car shows and just being a "social butterfly". In addition to his wife, Kay, surviving are two sons: Jason (Erica) Telschow of Bemus Point and Scott (Lily) Telschow of Mesa, AZ; and a grandson, Jonathan Telschow of Bemus Point. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home, led by Rev. Mark Lata. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
