Kevin, Debby and family, I wanted to send my condolences on the passing of your Dad. I have known him and your Mom for a long time as he was the first person my parents called when the stove/oven was on the fritz. And your Mom was my Aunt's good friend when they worked together at the phone company. After Tom and I got together, I got to know your Dad better as he would stop in and visit. I think we even went to a gun show with him!! I always enjoyed taking care of the horses when he would go away. Always looked forward to that. He will be missed! Amy

I am so so sorry for your loss! Bill and Virginia were such dear friends to me and my mom and dad. For many years Bill and Virginia were my mentors and my friend even when I was very young. I would go to QH shows with them in Clarence and they would give me great advice. Virginia taught me how to band my horse's mane. For years Virginia made all of my show clothes. As I grew older they were my friends. I loved them dearly. They were some of my parents dearest horse friends also. As we all know our horse friends become our family. At one point Bill and Virginia entrusted one of their babies to my dad and I to get ready for a futurity and show for them. We had come full circle. Even through Virginia's cancer treatments at Roswell, Bill and Diane would stop at Stagecoach were I was working so I could see her and how she was doing. After Virginia's passing, Bill gave me one of the most special gifts I had ever received, most of Virginia's sewing items, fabrics, dress form, beautiful buttons that I keep on display in a mason jar in my sewing room. Bill would continue to stop and see me and my mom when he came to Buffalo. Many years Bill would come hang out with us at the Erie County Fair to watch the horse show. I feel bad that in the last few years that I have not stayed in touch. But it is with much love and sadness that I am writing this. Diane and Sarah know how special Bill and Virginia were to me. I have a beautiful picture of Bill and Virginia sitting with my mom at my wedding. Again I am so sorry for your loss. He always made me laugh and smile!!! I am sure that Bill, Virginia and my Dad will have front row seats at Congress this October. Oh and the stories they will tell!!!

So sorry for the family's loss. Bill was a great guy and an excellent appliance repairman. Hadn't seen him in many years, but used to regularly have lunch with him at Erickson's Restaurant back in the day when my UPS route was in that area. Always enjoyed our conversations.
