Connie, I am so sorry. I will miss him. My best to you and yours as you go through this tough time. I can relate to your grief having gone through having lost my Jeanne. All I can say is there is no fix other than the elixir of time and yes time heals to a point but the memories never go away, just the sting of the loss slowly fades but never entirely.
