Obituary of Stephen L. Lawson

Stephen L. Lawson, 61, of 122 Cole Avenue, died Thursday October 31, 2019, in his home. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born June 20, 1958, a son of Mary Lou Cave Lawson and the late Robert Lawson. He attended Jamestown Public Schools. An auto mechanic for 45 years, he was employed by Shults Auto Group and earlier by the former McFadden Ford. He enjoyed camping, cooking, kayaking and golfing. He will be greatly missed by all his friends. Surviving besides his mother of Jamestown is three siblings Katherine Lawson, Christine (Tim) Caldwell and Jeffrey Lawson all of Jamestown; a niece Megan (Eric) Stevenson of Erie, PA and his furry boys "Hardy" and "Smoke Man." A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Visitation will not be observed.
