Obituary of Pasquale E. Pinciaro
Pasquale E. "Pat" Pinciaro, 88, of 22 Linwood Ave., passed away at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Blair House Hospice Residence in Warren, Pa.
He was born April 15, 1931 in Pettorano sul Gizio, Italy, a son of the late Sebastiano and Gaetana Rinalli Pinciaro. In his late teens, he emigrated from Italy and settled in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where he lived for several years before being joined there by his family.
On June 23, 1956, he married Grace Cimino of Jamestown, NY and moved permanently to the United States; first living in Bridgeport, CT before settling for good in Jamestown.
In earlier years, Pasquale had been employed by Maddox Table Company in Jamestown. He later retired after a number of years with Ethan Allen Co. in Frewsburg, NY.
Pasquale was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He was known for his wood working and home improvement skills, having constructed much of his own house. He often assisted friends and relatives in their own construction projects over the years.
Pasquale's family wishes to thank the staffs of both Chautauqua and Warren County Hospice, and of Blair House for their wonderful care during many difficult days.
Surviving are his two sons: Richard and his wife, Kim Pinciaro of Jamestown and Paul and his wife, Catherine Pinciaro of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren: Nichole M. Sample (Ben) of Jamestown, John R. Pinciaro (Amanda) of Frewsburg, and Madeline Grace and Olivia Ann Pinciaro, both of Jamestown; a great grandson, Dylan Sample; sister, Irma Oddi and sister-in-law, Donna Pinciaro, both of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada whom he loved very much; as well as his 'BFF', Bob Cordosi.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Cimino Pinciaro whom he married June 23, 1956 and who died June 11, 2012; a brother, Franco Pinciaro; and his sisters, Maria Ferelli and Anna Petrucci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 18th in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy will be celebrant. Entombment will be in the Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 3:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 27 Allen St., Jamestown, NY 14701; Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750; Blair House Hospice Residence, 301 Quaker Hill Rd., Warren, Pa. 16365; or to a charity of choice.
