Linda, Teresa and Rod – It is with a heavy heart that I have read of the passing of your father. There is not enough space to write about his influence on our family growing up. Dick was the one that got me interested in cars, motorcycles and anything with speed! But, I will always remember the times that Dick and Helen would celebrate New Years Eve with my parents by playing cards well into the night. For me, Dick’s passing is my last link to the “greatest generation America has seen”. Gone are my heroes of that era.
My thoughts are with you as grieve and heal over the coming days and months.
