My deepest sympathies to all Steve's family. I met Steve several years ago,as he was my best friend, Linzey's, husband. He was such a nice person and very likable. I am so sorry for your loss and you all will be in my thoughts.

Linda - we first met you and Steve as a new bride and groom, you made your first home in an apartment in our home on Sturges Street. Then as fate would have it, we became neighbors again when we moved to Ashville. Jason and Laura were in the same grade and the 3 of our kids often played together, rode to school together etc. We watched them all grow up. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Steve was a wise and kind man, always willing to lend a hand when Dan needed someone to "hold the other end" of a project. Geoffrey even helped us when we were moving. There are several families that we miss since our move to Florida, yours is one of them. Again, we are so sorry for your loss.

The world was a better place when you were here.
Rest in peace good man.
Gone too soon - as so many of the finest are, for some reason beyond our understanding.

I was in Steve's class at Southwestern until I moved to Jamestown.
Two years ago, I bumped in to Steve at Wegman's when I was home visiting family. I had not seen Steve since high school (at least neither of us could remember!).
We had a really nice, interesting conversation that covered many subjects and I left Wegman's feeling very happy to have reminisced with an old school mate. I also reflected on how nice a man Steve was and, as I remembered- always had been.
I am sorry to hear of his passing, which comes much too soon.

I will miss my friend and colleague, one whom I respected deeply.
Our regular conversations were so much fun.
My condolences to Jason, Julie & the grand daughters, and especially Geoffrey who had the pleasure of working with his dad.
May God's blessing be upon you, may you turn to Him in this time of sorrow.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I am deeply shocked and saddened by this news. I have nothing but great memories of Steve from growing up together in Celoron and the great neighborhood football games in your side yard on Melvin Avenue and the times we had fishing. Steve was truly one of a kind and just a great guy. I will keep all of you in my prayers as you work your way through this difficult time.
