Obituary of Maxine M. Jones

Maxine Maria Jones, 89, of 20 E. Tenth St., Jamestown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa. She was the widow of Francis R. "Frank" Jones whom she married Dec. 19, 1977 and who died Feb. 8, 2008. She was born April 8, 1930 in Celoron, NY and was the daughter of the late Earl and Anna Weatherby Adams. Maxine greatly enjoyed reading and loved her pet dog, Molly. She is survived by six children: Wendy McKotch, with whom she made her home, Lauren Collins, Jodie Walker, Nadine McKeown, Todd Collins and Neil Collins; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Collins and daughter, Sharon Ferenc. No visitation will be observed. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
