I treasure the many weekly visits I, as a volunteer, made to Benita, especially those over the past 6 months. It was evident how much she loved her family, who she spoke of often; and how very much her service years ago at First Presbyterian Church meant to her. On one visit I wheeled another resident on her unit, who I knew was also a member of First Pres, into Benita's room. They hadn't seen each other for a long time, were unaware that the other was living so close to them, and they both immediately flashed big smiles at each other, recognizing each other immediately. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
