Obituary of William W. McAdoo

William W. McAdoo, 79, of 27 Kinney Street, died Wednesday December 18, 2019, in UPMC Chautauqua. A native of Homer City, PA, he was born December 17, 1940, a son of the late William "Ben" and Elsie Gardner McAdoo. He was employed by Rockman's Super Duper, TRW and retired from Jamestown Community College as a custodian. Surviving are his wife Alice Smith McAdoo, who he married July 7, 1961; four children Kimberly (Chris) Furlow of Mayville, Matthew (Tricia) McAdoo of Jamestown, Kellie (Dave Feather) Hudson of Jamestown and Michael (Shannon) McAdoo of Crestview, FL; a daughter in law Karin McAdoo of Jamestown; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four brothers Larry, Tim, Gary and Randy McAdoo; three sisters Janice Murphy, Jeanne Murphy and Margie Brewer and his furry boy, his dog Rufus. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Mark McAdoo; two sisters Shirley Ferrara and Lydia Rothrock and a brother Virgil McAdoo. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Reggie Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
