Obituary of Jeanette M. Zebrowski

Jeanette M. Zebrowski, 96, formerly of Hunt Rd. Lakewood, NY, passed away at 6:05 pm Saturday, December 14, 2019, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. A lifelong area resident, she was born October 24, 1923 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Leonard A. and Evelyn M. Hallberg Fredrickson. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and the WCA Hospital School of Nursing. During her nurses training she served an internship at the Belleview Hospital in New York City. Before her retirement she was a registered nurse at WCA Hospital for 32 years. She and her late husband William were very active with Chautauqua County Meals on Wheels delivering meals to local residents for over 25 years. Surviving are her two sons; Craig Zebrowski of Marshall, TX, Gary Zebrowski of Powhatan, VA, three grandchildren; Melvin Zebrowski, Katie Zebrowski, Jake Zebrowski and three great grandchildren; Kyla Zebrowski, Lilia Zebrowski, Kaden Zebrowski. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William John Zebrowski whom she married in 1949 and who died April 20, 2009, a brother; Russell Fredrickson. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the Lind Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery Columbarium. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Meals on Wheels, 2020 Allen St. Jamestown, NY 14701.
