Our sympathy and love to Jan's family. Our beautiful friend is gone and we will miss her terribly. Memories will continue of the many life ventured we shared.
May she have a joyful reunion with her beloved son and family. Our sorrows will linger as we face the future without her smile and friendly greeting. God be with Dick & Julie and their family members'

Dick & family ..... I am deeply saddened to learn of Jan's passing. Among many things I will always remember and cherish is her bright spirit - that smile and sense of humor. All of the good times at Zion, at your home, and our "twin" Mustangs. Just great memories to treasure. Our thoughts and prayers will continue ... Don Meyer

When we moved up here to North Maple Ave, Jan was quick to welcome us into the neighborhood! As a semi-retired hairdresser, I did her hair and Dick's hair..we had many great visits..May the Lord Bless Dick and the family during this hard time, and hold them in the hollow of His hand!

Jan was like a sister to me that I never had. We had many fun phone chats, especially curing the problems of the world.
I will miss her, she was a kind person and had a heart of gold for being there for you when you needed her! I’m sure she and
Scott are enjoying being together again for eternity!

Janny was in fourth grade and I was in sixth on the second floor of the Milledgeville school when I first remember her smiling face despite the strict Mrs. McIntire who taught the upper three grades at the school. Janny could be mischievous, and everyone in the room took note of her. For four years we rode the bus together into Cochranton for junior and senior high and throughout those years she continually added joy to the trip with her good humor. The photo with the obit shows that her spirit remained with her even though she decided to spend some many years with Dick. That’s my attempt at a joke on one of my oldest pals, Harley we called him. What a wonderful person and she and Dick where an inspiring couple from the time the walked out of the Milledgeville Presbyterian Church 56 years ago. Deedie and I will not be able to get to the memorial service but will remember her always. David Runkel
