Obituary of Jeremie B. Donelson

Jeremie Donelson, 43, of Panama, NY died on February 16, 2020 in his home. He was the son of the late Steven and Denise Donelson. Jeremie was born on December 22, 1976 in Westfield, NY. He was a 1995 graduate of Panama Central School. He attended Jamestown Community College. He later earned his Bachelors from Colorado Christian University in Biblical Studies. He went on to earn his Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary. Prior to relocating back to New York, Jeremie studied for many years in Denver, Colorado and later in Omaha, Nebraska serving the First Baptist Church as a Senior Pastor. He was most recently employed at Hillside Family Services as a counselor for youth. He was a current member at Lighthouse Baptist Church where he played in the worship band. Jeremie was a huge Kansas City Chief's fan and was finally able to see them win the Super Bowl. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing the guitar, studying scripture, and most of all, spending time with his daughter Julia. Surviving are his wife, Denise Donelson who he married in 2006; a daughter, Julia Donelson; a sister, Danielle Donelson; his grandfather, Norm (Sheryl) Button of Panama; two uncles, Rick (Dee) Davis and Randy (Becky) Davis; and his cousin, Jon (Valerie) Davis. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced for family and friends to attend.
