Obituary of Cynthia A. Cunningham

Cynthia A. Cunningham, 61, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 31, 1958 in Cheektowaga, NY the daughter of the late Leo and Viola Odryzwolski Wolanin. Cindy graduated from the State University at Fredonia in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. For 20 years, she was an internal auditor at Chase Bank and also worked at Lakeshore Bank and Five Star Bank. Most recently she worked at Meridien Energy in Randolph. The family extends a special thank you to Meridien for their kindness and support towards the end of Cindy's working career. Cindy was always selfless, putting her husband, children, and family first, including all of the family pets. She enjoyed attending all of their sports and school activities, and looked forward to all family gatherings, whether it was the holidays, family reunions, or vacations. Cindy loved the warmer weather, sitting in the sun, and watching birds enjoy their feeders. She would never turn down a shopping trip, a good dessert, or spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband Patrick Cunningham with whom she would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary August 1, 2020; three children: Meghan Jackson (Benjamin) of Tallmadge, OH; Ryan Cunningham of Jamestown; Erinne Cunningham Mosehauer (Megan) of Rochester, NY; two grandchildren: Nolan and Riley Jackson; a brother, Leo T. Wolanin of Dallas, TX; and a brother in law, Tim Cunningham (Kelly Davis) of Jamestown. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Lind Funeral Home.
