Obituary of June R. Babcock

June R. Babcock, 92, of 451 Rt. 57 West Washington N.J., passed away Thursday March 26, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem, PA. June also resided at Hunt Road Apartments on West Third Street, Jamestown until recently. She was born June 27, 1927 in Stockton, NY the daughter of the late Merle and Audrey Hale Premer. June was an active member of the Jamestown Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. June was a homemaker and also took in foster children. Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis (Don) Eckel of Washington, NJ; a son, Richard "Rick" (Diane) Babcock of Jamestown; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren and a sister, Evelyn Russell of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Babcock whom she married September 11, 1948 and who died April 30, 2003; and a son, David L. Babcock Sr. who died in 2000. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Lind Funeral Home.
