Dear Jean and family. I am so saddened by Mark's passing. He will always be a part of my memories of the "gang" gathered at our house around the table eating chili, drinking coffee and telling hunting stories as the deer ran through the back yard. Happy times. Will so miss those bear hugs every time we met. God has given him peace now and may he also give you and yours comfort and strength in the coming days. With Love, Barb

Loren and Gloria: Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one's relative passing; I had no idea until reading your anniversary notice this a.m. Post-Journal.
I grew up across Dunham Avenue from Loren and family; his sis, Linda, one of my best friends. Please tell Loren I'm thinking of him and that time in condolence and affection. Joyce Rolph Kellogg

I in the not to distant past saw Mark when they had hot dogs at the Community Bank in Falconer! Last Summer I believe! I saw the LeRoy name on the Truck and ask him if he was Local? He said yes! My Maiden name is LeRoy I told him my Mom and Dad were Ed and Elaine LeRoy! My Dad was quite commonly Known as Jr LeRoy as many knew him! Mark and I had a nice chat and parted! Little did I know it would be the last time I would see him! My condolences to his wife and Children and the rest of his family So sorry for the loss of this man at such a young age. Mark was truly a wonderful person and great friend. Spent a lot of my teenage years with him and the gang. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
RIP my friend.

Mark was a perfectionist in his construction business. He built our home on Shadyside Road. From the front porch columns to the detailed wood work inside, everything had to be perfect. He will be remembered for his construction abilities. However, I’ll remember him as a cheerful, strong, brave person. He was my wonderful cousin. We love you very much, Mark.
Love, Debbie and Mark Eckstrand

What can I say? Mark always lit up the room everywhere he went! He was infectious! I have never received bigger hugs from anybody in my entire life than from him! It simply was not possible to be in a bad mood when you were around him. He was always so optimistic and encouraging and he made you feel that anything was possible! Bill and I will miss you so very much Mark! Keep smiling!! Love, Missy & Bill

Lisa and I were saddened to learn of Mark’s passing. He was so helpful to us when we remodeled our cottage. His work ethic was legendary and he was a true craftsman. He was engaging and friendly and absolutely gushed about his children. I watched with admiration many times last summer as he and Greg launched out of Lowe Park in search of walleye. Mark was always smiling and happy to be on the water ... a picture of courage and dignity. Our thoughts are with the LeRoy family at this difficult time.

We will miss you Mark. Thank you for all you have done for our family thru the years. You made our mother in law Barb Mattison's days when you worked on her house in Lakewood she looked forward to you coming everyday, My sister in law was thrilled with the work your did on her house. We are beyond thrilled with our addition on our house - you included quality, passion and hard work we could not have asked for more. Our deepest sympathy to your family. RIP.

I am so very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was always such a light, and even though I haven't seen him too many times since our days at JCC, our brief exchanges and even just passing his truck on the road with a wave always left me feeling brighter. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your family.

I was Mark's neighbor for many years growing up, riding the bus, parties in the field, he was always so cheerful and full of life. Once I moved away after school we lost touch but anytime I would see him out and about we would talk and catch up like it was long ago. He always had a lot of energy. Rest in peace my friend, till we meet again...

Very sad news. Mark was always so cheerful and full of life, it is hard to accept that he is gone. I didn't see him often but when I did he always ran over to give me a hug with that huge smile of his. May his loved ones take comfort in knowing that they are being thought of at this most difficult time. God speed Mark.
