Obituary of Helen M. Fiorella

Helen M. (Sears) Fiorella, 83, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Thursday April 16, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 6, 1936 in Cassadaga, NY the daughter of the late Lynn and Louise Johnson Sears. Helen was a 1956 graduate of Northern Area Joint High School in Sugar Grove, PA. For 35 years, she was employed at Marlin Rockwell Corp., retiring in 1991. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her sisters and her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Charles J. Fiorella Jr., whom she married July 4, 1959 at St. James R. C. Church, which they attended for many years; two daughters: Janyce (Jim) Curry of Jamestown, Lisa (John) Holdorf of Edmeston, NY; four grandchildren: Ronald (Katie) Storms, Matthew (Courtney) Storms, Emily Holdorf, and Lindsay Holdorf; three great grandchildren: Haylie, Charlee, and Emma Storms; three sisters: Luella (Kenneth) Strickland of Jamestown, Carol Munson of Warren, PA, Joan Fitch of Akeley, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Johnson. Due to the current restrictions related to the Coronavirus, a private service will be held. Visitation will not be observed at this time. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care; Jamestown Meals on Wheels; or a charity of your choice.
